| Blackhawk Residents Association General Meetings - Invite your neighbors! Español At New Covenant Fellowship, 865 Parkway - 7:00 PM Meetings are generally the LAST Tuesday of every other month (Sept - May). Our hearts go out the Galarza family that tragically lost their little boy to violence. We will support them in any way we can. We stand against gangs and drugs and watch out for our neighbors by calling the police. Next Meeting Tuesday, January 31, 2011 - Potluck Dinner at 6pm!! Invite your neighbors! Bring a dish to pass (at least 5 servings). We will provide drinks. Please bring your own table service (we will have some paper plates). Bring your questions for Mike Kelly and for State Rep. Keith Farnam's office. Our neighborhood meetings are about meeting each other, learning about our community, helping each other, living in a safe, clean, enjoyable neighborhood for everyone. Enjoy hearing a local speaker help us learn about Elgin or safety. It is always in informative evening and you be sure to learn some good thing about Elgin or your neighbor! Please also bring some food to donate to the local Hanover Township food pantry to help some neighbors going through some tough times. Be on the alert for scams. | Nominate your neighbor for a Golden Neighbor Award Contact the President to nominate a neighbor. Let us know why your neighbor should receive this award. You may present this award to your neighbor at the next General Meeting. Examples would be neighbors who help the elderly, or assist neighbors in with needs, who help protect neighbors or other items. We will help you with the award and presentation. CALL US TODAY! |
