| Blackhawk Residents Association General Meetings - Invite your neighbors! Español At New Covenant Fellowship, 865 Parkway - 7:00 PM Meetings are generally the LAST Tuesday of every other month (Sept - May). Living History Informaiton - check out this EXCITING project! Join us for fun filled Summer Activities June 26, 1pm - 4pm, Saturday - Picnic at the New Covenant Parking Lot. We will provide grills, tables, chairs, drinks. Bring your own meat and a dish to pass. OR - Enjoy free Hot Dogs from the Elgin Community Network! Come and enjoy and meet some neighbors and city officials!! July 18, Sunday at 1:00 at Lord's Park Pavilion join us for picnic BEFORE the Elgin Music in the Park at 2pm. Health and Resource Fair along with Hanover Township and Blackhawk Apartments. FREE Health screenings and information - blood pressure, diabetes, anemia and more. This will be in the Blackhawk Club House on Congdon on Tuesday, July 27 3:00 - 7:00pm. Open to the public. August 3, 2010 National Night Out, from 7pm-9pm. September 28, 2010 ELECTION OF OFFICERS Board Meetings are open to the public. Contact the president for the details. | Nominate your neighbor for a Golden Neighbor Award Contact the President to nominate a neighbor. Let us know why your neighbor should receive this award. You may present this award to your neighbor at the next General Meeting. Examples would be neighbors who help the elderly, or assist neighbors in with needs, who help protect neighbors or other items. We will help you with the award and presentation. CALL US TODAY! |
